We certainly appreciated the efforts put forth by Jon and his crew in restaining and restoring our log home!
Our two story home is now 31 years old but prior restaining jobs had left us with less-than-positive memories. This time we discovered Colorful Concepts. Jon clearly has had more experience with log structures—which certainly require a much more nuanced approach than other conventional structures.
We were always given thoughtful explanations (particularly from Brad) during the phases of powerwashing/cleaning, chink repair, choices of stain products, and finally color matching of specific log repairs or replacements. Jon’s team also replaced a failing balcony rail with a beautiful handcrafted cedar post and rail system.
We highly recommend Colorful Concepts for a job well done! It has been a good experience. We were pleased with the crew, for their cheerful personalities and their thorough attention to the “finishing touches".
